This is a gorgeous hand crafted recycled denim slouch bag. Perfect gift for your mum, daughter, girlfriend, wife, best friend, for any occasion
The outside of the bag is the top part of a pair of preloved jeans, which has been teamed with a blue floral shirt for the inside and strap. The bag hardware is also silver.
The front of the bag features a 'mended' section where the inside fabric has been hand stitched using the Japanese Boro technique. The front and back of the bag has also been decorated with Japanese Sashiko hand stitching.
The Japanese Boro and Sashiko stitching are part of mindful stitching.
The bag features a large pocket on the inside that has been split in two - enough room for most phones and other bits and pieces.
The bag closes with a brass magnetic button.
The strap is extendable for wearing as a shoulder bag or as a cross over bag.
The measurements are (approximately):
* Bag: 46 x 29 cm (18 x 11.4 inches)
* Strap: Shortened - 84 cm (33 inches), Fully extended - 1.35m (53.1 inches)

Please note, a lot of these designs are made with preloved / recycled materials. They are not always perfect which I think makes them so special.
All material is prewashed prior to sewing and all these designs are able to be washed on a delicate cycle in a delicates washing bag.
CUSTOM DESIGNS
Yes, I do custom designs. As I am traveling around Australia I don’t have my full range of supplies but we can definitely discuss a custom design.
